My photography is rooted in presence, mood, and the surrounding environment. I work intuitively with light, space, and emotional tone. That means I won’t be following a rigid checklist for every shot — we’ll be creating something that’s specific to you, that moment, that location, and the background and lighting its offering.
The best results come when we let go a little and stay open to what the shoot wants to become.
I prioritize areas with soft light or shade. Midday shoots (11pm-4pm) typically require that we shoot in some shade. I’d like to shoot in your ideal spots at the location, but if the lighting there is harsh, washing you out, or creating unpleasant shadows on your face, I’ll suggest nearby alternatives. I’ll always make choices that center how you look and feel in the frame.
Wear something that makes you feel good, comfortable, and confident. Avoid small stripes or logos, and if you’re not sure what will photograph well, feel free to send options and I’m happy to give input.
Please arrive on time and ready to begin. I’ll offer direction throughout the shoot, but I also love when people bring ideas they’re drawn to — we can talk through them together. Once we begin, I’ll help guide us into a rhythm.
I will deliver all the photos to you on spot! I can plug my SD card directly into your phone or computer to copy them over. You’ll need approximately 5GB of space on your phone or computer to do so.
If you order editing, I’ll deliver your full edited gallery within 1 week. If you need images sooner, let me know and we can discuss rush editing.
I take a $50 deposit when you book to hold your spot; the rest is due the day of the shoot via Zelle or cash. You’ll receive a reminder 48 hours before our session.
